INNOVATEC in the 2nd HEIRRI Conference

The 2nd HEIRRI Conference ‘Education towards a responsible society, transforming universities through RRI’ will present the results of nearly three years of project activities designed to promote the integration of Responsible Research and Innovation (RRI) within the education of scientists, engineers and other professionals involved in the R&D process. As project partner, Innovatec will actively participate in this event, which will be held in Vienna on next 27 April 2018.

Keynote speakers:

  • Vincent Blok, Assistant Professor in sustainable entrepreneurship, business ethics and responsible innovation at the Management Studies Chair Group, Wageningen University
  • Philippe Galiay,Head of Sector ‘Mainstreaming Responsible Research and Innovation in Horizon 2020 and the European Research Area’, European Commission Research and Innovation Directorate-General
  • Rolf Tarrach, President of the European University Association (EUA)

Participants, including high-level education representatives, academics, industry, international associations and other stakeholders, will have the opportunity to discuss the HEIRRI training programmes and their piloting, to join debates on the future of RRI in Europe and beyond, to discover other initiatives on RRI training, and to engage in multidisciplinary sessions. A combination of keynote talks, parallel thematic sessions, RRI initiatives speed dating and a poster session are bound to make for an engaging and enriching event. INNOVATEC in the 2nd Engagement Workshop of InRoad

Innovatec will participate in the 2nd Engagement Workshop of InRoad project, which will take place on 15 and 16 of January 2018 in Brussels. This workshop should serve to publicly presenting first outputs and results on national research infrastructures roadmapping procedures (NRIRMP) and related evaluation practices in Europe as well as to promote the discussion and exchange of practices among EU and national policy makers and project stakeholders. INNOVATEC joins the JRU Lifewatch España

Recently, INNOVATEC has reached an agreement to become part of the Joint Research Unit Lifewatch España “JRU LW.ES” in order to participate in the development of collaborative R&I projects focus on the environment, management of biodiversity and ecosystems based on the construction of the distributed e-infrastructure LIFEWATCH.

INNOVATEC in the COLUMBUS Blue Society Knowledge Transfer Conference 2017

INNOVATEC, partner of the COLUMBUS H2020 project, will participate in the second COLUMBUS Annual Conference focused on achieving impact from marine research. The conference will take place in Brussels on the 7th. of November 2017, and it will bring together actors interested in sharing best practices and learning about initiatives and sectoral progress in Knowledge Transfer.
